If you are a student of the clinical years, you have had classes in the various pediatrics departments in Kliniki. Well, this might not be for too long! 🙂 There are plans to build a new pediatrics clinic behind the main building in Borowska, next to the pediatric hematology and oncology (Klinika “Przylądek Nadziei”). The contract to construct the new center was signed on September 7th 2023: Costs of this project are of 223 million zloty in total.
The departments of pediatric gastroenterology, allergology, endocrinology, cardiology and infectious diseases will be moved to the new location and thus transfer their ward into the 21st century.
The new center is planned to open in 2028, so students that are currently in 1st and 2nd year might still be able to see it – if the constructions finish on time.
