Interstudent Award
What is Interstudent?
A competition is open to all foreign students studying at Polish universities. The competition seeks to distinguish the “university leaders”, who contribute to the integration of Polish and International students the most building bridges between cultures and enriching Polish academic environment. Student’s outstanding cultural, social, environmental or sport activity in the peers’ community, alongside with good academic performance, are the requirements for participation.
One person in each category is awarded with a price – bachelor studies, master studies, doctoral studies.
Six students from our university were nominated for the polish Interstudent award 2024.

Our Interstudent Nominees:

For initiating the mentor program for the freshman and thus creating a more lively and helping community at our university!
Lioba Niesmann
For bringing Sono4You to our campus and starting peer-to-peer sought ultrasound courses.
Haythem Al Hamaydeh
For his time and heart in the anatomy workshops helping all first year students getting through this most demanding course.
Melissa Szmukala
For her dedication in the extracurriculars and in specific for her student association INSA (International Neurology Student Association).
Wanda Ambrosius
For creating and maintaining the student council website, which was replaced by the one you are currently reading on.
Clean Up Odra
With Helena Helena Gebarska, Natalia Hiler and Chidubem Odera Mba.
Collected more than 10.000 cubic meters of trash trash along the Odra river with a bunch of volunteers!
